The Need for Evidence-based Decisions on the A303 - Not the Usual Nonsense

Here at WiSBAng we are firm believers in evidence-based government policy, not the usual emotional knee-jerk, ill-educated, gut-feeling, wishy-washy, party politics-driven claptrap to which we are usually subject and which has been the bane of the debate around the future of the A303 and the much needed bypass for Winterbourne Stoke.   

One of the roles of this blog, aside from the occasional rant, is to dig out that evidence and try and put as much of it as possible into one place.  That gives you, the reader, an easy way of getting to it and deciding for yourselves the merits of any particular line of argument.   Make up your own minds – chase the evidence.

Clearly, we don’t have the resources or time to find all the interesting, useful or downright embarrassing evidence ourselves, so if we miss anything, let us know by leaving a comment to a blog post.
